Currently, we have three adult classes:
- Willing Workers – current study: Proverbs; Ecclesiastes; Song of Solomon; Matthew
- Followers of the Way – current study: Fruits of the Spirit
- Seekers of the Light – current study
Children are precious and we strive to nurture them in their spiritual growth and to equip families for this process.
Following the ringing of the old church bell at 10:45am, members and visitors gather for the morning service at 11:00.
The Parish Nurse Program is a covenant of Church Hill First United Methodist Church and the Wellmont Health System. Parish Nursing is based on the concept of holistic health care – being well in mind, body and spirit.
Our preschool is highly praised. It provides a structured program that teaches the Bible along with developmentally appropriate academics. school.
FUMCCH Women’s Ministry seeks to know God, to develop a supportive fellowship thru bible studies, outside activities and helping others in need. We support local, conference-wide and global missions. We are included within the Kingsport District under the Holston Conference.
The 25-member worship choir enjoys singing a blend of music from traditional to contemporary.
Youth ages five through seven experience much of the regular children’s ministry while beginning to take leadership in some of these ministries. They serve as acolytes and speakers during worship service about the church’s missions.
